The Bar

When I finished the home theater, I bought a wall-mounted shelving unit to store my DVD's and CD's. When it came time to finish the bar, I decided to use one of the same units to hold our liquor bottles and glasses.

This is the two-tower, four tapper kegerator. It was converted from a chest freezer. A Johnson Controls thermostat controls the temperature.

I really liked the huge mobile bassinets they had at the hospital when Jessica was born. So I set out to make my own.

The biggest motivational factor that kept me going during the two and a half years it took me to finish my basement was the idea of having our own home theater. What started out as a nice add-on to our house, quickly became one of our favorite activities after Kaylee was born.
